Shaun Wilson is a Melbourne-based artist working with themes of memory, place and scale. His video art has been screened throughout Australia, Europe and USA at galleries such as the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Australian Centre for the Moving Image; Bilbao; Museum of Contemporary Art Fenosa Union; Centre of Contemporary Culture Barcelona; Kunstmuseum, Norway and the National Museum Centre of Art Reina Sofia, Spain. Current series include the ‘Uber memoria’ and ‘Gothic memoria’ video paintings which both explore how memories impact through places and from this, how the video image itself responds to such factors. He is currently a Lecturer in Video Production at RMIT University, Melbourne.
