Golden Shield Rise Jvox Lladro

Actop is a creative cell based in Barcelona and formed by Alvaro P. Posadas and César Pesquera. They operate as an open structure experimenting and collaborating with different agencies, collectives and artists and working on a wide range of media: print, animation, motion graphics, live visuals and new approaches to the moving image.
Golden Shield is part of the Undercurrent installation curated by D-Fuse. This is then re-interpreted by different artists in response to questions of urban architecture, economic and social change as well as our personal relations to the space that surrounds us. The Golden Shield was formally known as the 'Great Firewall of China', blocking content by preventing IP addresses from being routed through and consists of standard firewall and proxy servers at the Internet gateways.
Rise is an experimental piece exploring the interaction between music and image. Later was further developed in Krud, a music video for Fibla
