Clément Cogitore lives and works between Paris, Luxembourg and Strasbourg. After completing his studies at the Ecole supérieure des arts décoratifs in Strasbourg and at the Fresnoy-Studio national des arts contemporains, he is now exploring the borders between cinema and contemporary art.
Combining film, photography, videos and installations, he is questioning concepts such as "transporting images" and "screen as territory". Changing the traditional forms and functions of screening devices and using experimental narrative forms, his projects show fragments of reflection on the perception of history, collective memory and also the representation of the sacred.
