Matthew Tyas (UK 1977) lives and works in Pau, south west France. Professional musician and computer addict, he has been exploring multimedia arts since the late 90's. Basing his work around the beauty of real life complexity, his work cover domains such as photography, video, audio or virtual world installations
Milky Clouds (2009) captures the simple process of milk being poured into water. Filmed in real time, the two basic liquids of life intertwine and react freely, creating abstract evolving spaces. The sound reinforces the incertitude's of evolution, sweeping slowly or glitching suddenly with totally artificial sources to contrast with the natural aspects of the images.
