Jean Claude Ruggirello (1959) lives and works in Marseille and Paris. He teaches in the Marseille art school. Apart from videos he makes drawings, installation art and sculptures.
Most of his video installations attempt to deconstruct, reconstruct, and modulate the relations between time and image. Images rythmically moving out of sync with one another -when the mechanism employs several monitors- the sound out of sync with the images, discrepancies or distortions between the nature of the image and the nature of the sound.
